Pokémon GO - Lead Client Engineer

  • Lead the Unity development team from 2015 to 2017.

  • Built the systems for receiving S2 map data from the servers and building the in-game world, including all rendering code.

  • Built the Pokestop interaction sequence. The game feel of spinning a Pokestop is something I’m particularlly proud of.

  • Emergency feature changes and unique new types of bugs were common on this project as it was trailblazing in multiple ways.

  • Architected the core code systems of the game. Presented at Unite 2016.
